Sticking with a difficult decision

Sticking with a difficult decision

Difficult decisions are not black and white. Those colors are reserved for the easy ones. They are inherently gray and come in millions of shades.

That can make us troubled and compromise the follow through, even after we make the decision. So we need strength both to make the difficult decision, and to stick with it.

In my experience, questioning myself after a difficult decision is to be expected. What helps is to remind myself of why I’ve made that decision in the first place. Only a good why provides the strength needed. When that’s clear, those murky post-decision emotions are just the natural part of the process, nothing more, nothing less.
